Sorry if this has already been addressed, but I have had a little trouble finding a workable solution.

I have a PCS+ 5770 IGB gfx card (Dirt2 ed). I purchased this for the 3 screen capability.

It works on the display port no problem. Both POST and in Win7 x64. The display port adapter is passive and connects to a 32" lcd tv via an HDMI cable. this connection works fine on four other 32" lcd tv displays, so I am quite confident that the HDMI cable is good. oh and the cable is new and says it supports 1.4 but i reckon at worst it is 1.3 compliant. I am NOT interested in audio over the HDMI.

The Problem:
I can not get an output on either of the two DVI or the HDMI outputs.

I have tried the following:

24+1 DVI to VGA adapter to a known good 19" LCD. RESULT = No output or detection

24+5 DVI to VGA adapter to a known good 19" LCD. RESULT = No output BUT Windoze makes the 'connect' noise.

SO I tried

24+5 DVI to HDMI adapter with the HDMI (19 pin) cable as used above. RESULT = No output or detection

24+1 DVI to HDMI cable (this worked fine on my 4800 series card). RESULT = No output or detection

HDMI output direct to HDMI input on all 4 TV's. RESULT = No output or detection

All outputs were "enabled" as far as I could tell. Tried the ATI CCC and Windows 'own' display config. Is there a tool to force/switch the outputs on?

I have tried the obvious solutions (well the ones I could find) such as powering pc off, making sure cables connected and displays turned on before restart etc and variants thereof.

The 'odd' thing though is most ppl seem to have a problem getting the display port to work and for me, it's the DVI and HDMI.

I have, of course, wondered if I need different cables and yes I get the difference about the displayport specs. Please note that none of the displays have a displayport interface. If it is a cable issue, then can you suggest a suitable one?

Can anyone please assist?

Again, apologizes if I am missing the obvious.

Oh and my basic setup is P965, 4GB, 800W psu, E6600, all at stock whilst getting this card to work.

Regards
Max
