Really simple to calculate electricity usage once you work out the idle and load power draw, which a meter can do (or you can use an online PSU calculator).
Multiply the wattage figure you get by the number of hours the PC is on.
Example: 250W x 8 hours = 2000W = 2Kwh (which is the units electricity companies use for charging purposes). 1Kwh is around 10p here, so 10 x 2 = 20p.
do you know any decent online PSU calculators, I realise google is my friend but I would like to find a decent one, preferably one someone has used and knows is accurate as opposed to something which a aload of crap
