Everytime I turn on my pc its lost about 1hour of time, and is getting worse. I assume its the MB battery about to die, does that sound about right?
And if so are all MB battery the same or do I need to match like for like? And how long is it ok to have the battery out and are there any pit falls while I swap it out, like it loosing settings/bios.
Many thanks.

Most new boards use a Lithium CR2032, you usually have just enough time to swap them over without losing settings as there's a capacitor in the circuit. Make a note of any overclock settings in case you need to enter them again.

Just change the battery over which tool about 15seconds and when I booted up the time had reset to 00:00 Jan 1st 2002 and it "found new hardware". It then installed window drivers for a couple of things. I've reset the time and restarted the pc and it seems to be keeping time ok now. I'm just wondering what else has happened and apart from installing the drivers again what else do I need to do?
Many Thanks.
