Right, I have my PC running MCE 05, it works fine, no problems at all.
I got a Pinnacle Hybrid Pro PCI (310i) form a local shop, with the plan to use it in MCE for freeview and recording.
I installed it using the MCE 05 drivers on the Pinnacle site, it showed in Device Manager as working ok, but MCE couldn't see it. I uninstalled and tried the Pinnacle Media Centre software, that said it couldn't find a tuner.
I had it swapped today, all the drivers had been uninstalled, put in the new card, tried installing the drivers for MCE (it popped up with the found new hardware wizard but I ignored it).
Now in Device Manager is shows "The Device cannot start (Code 10)"
Obviously, no media software will see it. Pinnacle support just said swap it, but two in a row is making me think there may be something else, I've tried googling for an answer but only find sites selling the card.
Has anyone any ideas on this one? I know the tuner card isn't from this shop, but the rest of the PC was
