Hi all, I've been thinking recently that I could do with a PDA, I don't really know the full functions of these things as the last PDA I had was pretty useless (I was about 14 and had absolutely no need for it). I was just weighing up the advantages of having a PDA and came up with a small list:
Calander/organiser (most important for me)
Contacts
Wi-Fi/internet/e-mail
E-books (especially textbooks)
Music player
TomTom/sat nav
Games (least important)
Which is pretty much all I can think of. If anyone can think of any more, I'd appreciate it if you could add to the list. I'm also convinced that a phone is just not up to the job. Too fiddley to be honest and I got my new phone for 3 reasons: 1 it's really small, 2 it can make phone calls and 3 it can send texts; not for a organiser thingy.
On a related point, I need to know which one to get. I'm looking to spend around £200 so a mid-range one and I'm looking at the Palm TX which looks good and I've also heard good things about the HP iPAQ rx1950. Any suggestions or things that I should be looking out for?
Thanks
