Is it harmful to leave my Dell Axim X50v in its charging cradle when its fully charged? The same goes for the spare battery.

No, they won't be over-charged. Better than letting them go flat. I've had a Compaq iPAQ and LOOX 720 sat for most of their lives in charging cradles, and the batteries are still holding up well.

Cheers, its just that I only use my PDA for GPS and thats getting less frequent. The consequence is that the battery runs down, I lose data and it takes ages to restore.
