PDA OS Question

Does anyone know the differences between these different PDA Operating Systems?

Microsoft Pocket PC 4.0
Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003
Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium Edition
Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005

kinda yeh but i havent heard of microsoft pocket pc 4.0

Microsoft Windows Mobile 5.0 Premium Edition (this is windows mobile 2005)
Microsoft Windows Mobile 2005 (this was what windows mobile 5.0 was called before its release)

Microsoft Windows Mobile 2003 - this is the older version of windows mobile 2003 second edition (the os i have most experience with).


the two main OSs at the moment are windows mobile 2003 se and windows mobile 5.0. the main difference between the two are that windows mobile 2003 never switches off it just suspends itself and uses volatile memory wheras windows mobile 5.0 can be shutdown completly
