Does anyone here use a PDA? What would you recommend? Not totally entry level but doesn't need to be too flashy either.

Got a dell X5 for like 50 quid still shrinkwrapped etc off the bay. Its 400mhz so pretty fast, with CF and SD slots, making it ideal for satnav.

Cant see its worth paying any more than that for a PDA....

I use a HX4700, yes its big, yes the battery sucks, but its exactly what i needed. Had it about a year and it hasnt failed me yet.

i just bought myself the HP rx1955 brand new off ebay for £130 (£220 rrp). Wifi, 300mhz CPU, SD card slot, all i need in one tbh, very happy with it :)

If you want to carry it around with you ALL the time then get something like the smaller PocketPC phones. You won't need to carry a mobile phone around with you anymore giving you more room for the PPC phone.

I went through 3 different PDAs, last one being a IPAQ HX4700, before realising I didn't use them as much as I wanted to because they were mostly too big to carry around everywhere.

Bought an SPV M500 a year ago and take it everywhere now. A Personal Data Assistant isn't much use if it isn't there when you need it.

I got the Orange SPV M2000 (same as O2 XDA II). I use it mainly with my TomTom GPS software and bluetooth receiver. It also has WiFi which is annoying to configure but a nice feature nonetheless. You can also put a sim card in it and make phone calls from it. Some people might call the slide-out backlit qwerty keyboard a nice feature, but I personally think its unnecessary and just adds to the width of the device.

Best of all, got it for £100 with a phone contract 18 months ago.

I got a Treo 650, which runs on the Palm OS. It's great. It's a phone too and has a mini querty keyboard for texts and emails. you can get some new software for it now so it's like a blackberry.

Got it as a free upgrade with Orange. (RRP £400).

I use a Nokia 9300i, but that's because a keyboard is a requirement for me. What do you need it for? :)

Keeping organised mainly, would be good to be able to view/create docs on there. As well as your general kill time stuff.

Has anyone got any experience of the Qtec 9100, I've just been given one to try out? It seems ok but f it had 3G it would be ace.
