Pda with sat nav

Ok thanks for the info.I want to go the PDA route (excuse the pun) so i can use it for other things than just satnav.

@Bill101 I agree,i will take a look on that site thanks.

I'd recommend going for a standalone PDA/GPS and getting the sat-nav software separate.
Do you have any suggestions? Cheaper the better but willing to compromise (Not sure on budget under £400 all in) if possible.

Thanks for the info Demon,I will certainly take a look. The only reason i didn't look to that way was because i didn't know what to look for.

Done a bit of looking around and if i went and bought..

DELL X51V = £240
CF GPS cards with SIRFIII = £40+
Navigation software = £100

That would be a total of £380+. The Asus MyPal 636 is only £325 but not as good spec PDA.Still undecided and so confusing what and where to look my the items seperate.

@ Richdog
The Mio 168 gps doesn't have bluetooth which is one of the things i want. Thanks anyway.

@Demon
I'd still be looking at an DELL X51 (X51V if you want the VGA Screen) + either CF SirfIII GPS or BT SirfIII GPS, top notch 624Mhz WM5 PDA with the best GPS Chipset, or that Fujitsu Loox mentioned previously..
What sort of prices can all this be bought for?

The prices that i showed earlier in the thread were taken from other peoples comments,as yet i haven't found them at these prices.

Try the MIO A201
Thanks i will have a look. :)

I have read a lot of reivews but still looking for the best deal.By the way i can't find that site existing anywhere (gpsreview.co.uk).

Yes i tried google but i typed in what you said gpsreview.co.uk.

I will take a look at those sites. :)

Just been looking again at the MIO 201 mentioned earlier in the thread and have found it for £280.81 (£329.95 incl. VAT) which is TomTom Navigator 5 Software & GB Maps (Preloaded SD Card) + Mio A201

Is this a good deal and is it a decent sytem for what i need both pda and satnav use?

Thanks Demon info much appreciated.I have never been one for buying from the bay and would prefer to go the retail route, and want new some of them are showing as reconditioned. Also the first link you posted doesn't seem to say what type of antenna it uses.
TOMTOM5 Software, genuine, on SD Card = £99 from numerous online shops
WHen it says this do you get the cd aswell or just the SD card?
