PDCS

I have just received a call from PDCS asking it it was me which I said it was. They then wanted my postcode and address - I refused this and they said they wanted to check they had the correct address. I asked them what address they had and they couldnt tell me

I have no dept as far as I am aware

Anyone heard of this company or had a similar call?

They are debt collectors.

oh well, they dont have my home or current address so

(plus the fact I have no dept)

Debt collection companies are not usually the smartest, or the most ethical but I would suggest you get hold of a copy of your credit file to be on the safe side.

They may have traced you through some incorrect info in your credit file that either has been attributed to you incorrectly, or someone has stolen your identity, so best be safe than sorry.

On them calling you, if they ring again tell them to stop calling and you will only converse with their debtor by post. Chances are they've got the correct address for them as they would have gotten that when they purchased the debt.
