Weeks holiday in the Peak District in August. Got an AirBnB so it's fully self catering. I'm staying in/near Glossop which isn't the most ideal location but can drive around.

Looking for restaurant & pub recommendations, if there is anywhere really top notch to splash out on one night but otherwise just decent food and drink.

Also if there are any recommendations for places to get good quality produce like deli style ham/cheese etc.

Thanks.

I stopped by the Ladybower Inn for a pint after a hike last weekend. I didn't eat there, but the food looked good. Beautiful area of the peak district, too.

Not really been to any of the following for food but had drinks in them.

The Dog & Partridge on the Woodhead pass back to Barnsley is nice. Here

The Fox House can get busy but a nice place to stop in on.

The George Hotel in Hathersage, I've only been once but it was a lovely place.

Great picks guys, thanks for the information. As I expected not too many near where I am staying, but I'll have the car so maybe places I can stop in for lunch or a dinner if I'm not in the mood for a drink.

:)
