Peak Oil computer game!

Does look a good game, its from the studio that was formed by the guys who did the Desert Combat mod for 1942. Could be a good rival to games like 2142 and Quake Wars.

That was the best Battlefield game out, including the new ones. Desert Combat was awesome...

Their RTS are the best ever tbh, let's hope they're at the same standard with FPS. Which they probably will be. Good company.

Warhammer 40k Dawn of War was one of the best RTS's ive played to be honest, Really fun game. I have a slight urge to say they are behind World in Conflict, although i could be wrong there, although its good enough to warrant being a THQ game.

lol for the past 20 years we've been at "peak oil" or comming very close to LOL

Naw... for the last 50 years it's be "around the turn of the century". The first predictions in the fifties were before the turn of the century - but then they didn't factor in the '73 and '79 oil shocks which depressed production for a decade pushing peak out.

Played the demo and i'm not too amazed by it. It looks amazing and all but I'm not fond of the game play - much prefer Company of Heroes. Really don't like controlling on a tiny portion of the army. Won't be buying it.

From the World in Conflict thread. You create 5 Medium Attack Helicopters and that's your army?

I agree with Dawn of War, I played that for almost a year. I was godlike :D The expansion ruined it though (Winter Assault), not sure about Dark Crusade though, haven't played it.
