What's your favourite variety? I love them all, and mostly eat petit pois, but I like garden peas too. Tonight I'm eating marrowfat peas, processed, and I forgot how much I love them, they're like mushy peas.
Birdseye Garden Peas. Yes they're frozen but god damn they're so sweet and juicy.
I don't mind mushy peas, especially with pie and chips but marrow-fat peas are just too... Dry?
I wish I had some fresh pea-pods though, I like plucking the little peas out.
Though...sometimes they have been edible in stir fry type dishes - the general stodginess of the dish can make up for the low quality of the peas used.
