got my samsung pebble 2032BW a couple days ago and ive noticed that during the first minute or so during boot up until reaching the xp logon screen it displays static.

its like small 1" pixel lines snowing across the screen, but gradually fade out until hitting windows.

is this anything to be worried about? could it be a dodgy cable (i dont have one to hand until i borrow one from work tomorrow), my graphics card nvidia fx5500 256mb pci, or something else?

or is it time to start an RMA?

I have a 2032 aswell. No problems at all here and nothing at all like you have described. I'm using the DVI input.
 
im using DVI too. i'll try swapping the cable out tomorrow tho i dont think itll help.. otherwise i think i'll get it RMA'd i think.
