My friend Becky is having a problem with her Macbook Pro.
Her OS is crashing randomly and regularly at the moment. I think it might be a dodgy sector on the HDD (I upgraded the stock to a 500gb WD one). When she tries an anti-virus it gets to the same spot each time and falls over. There is an OS prompt (similar to the volume up and down ones...can't remember their name) which says "You need to restart your computer. Hold the power off button" in several languages.
Any thoughts on this? Any similar experiences? Has she got a dodgy drive?
