Pedestal fan

After our fan started smelling like burning plastic last night we need new pedestal fan.
Any recommendations please.

Meaco 1056p or the new "sefte" gets my vote. I have the older 1056p model.

Whatever cheap Chinese ones The Range/B&Q have on offer.

The larger the fan blades, the slower/quieter you can have the fan and still get good air circulation.
