I use it.

Not sure how effective it is but it logs a LOT of IP addresses.

Also it wont allow me to play any online games with it running so it does stop people accessing your system

Don't think it makes any difference though with usenet

Makes next to no difference, just causes more problems by blocking everything rather than doing something useful IMO.

If you mean PeerBlock then its fantastic. Only run it when you think you need to as it can block stuff that you don't want blocked.

Waste of time. Does more damage than good. Don't use it.
