think this is the right section

have heard of some software called p2p guardian,

and I believe that it stops people from seeing how much you download etc,

anybody heard of this especially with the news that today individuals can be targeted

cheers

its called peer guardian2
I think what it does is block people with suspect IP adresses from connecting to you, when you run it, you will see it scanning through hundreds of IP's, and occasionaly you will see a "blocked" note next to an entry on the list, which indicates that IP may belong to a "spy" from a copyright organisation who is knowingly uploading/sharing copyrighted material in order to collect information (IP's) about others who are braking the law.

Its been around a long time....as to how effective it is, i dunno.

Obviously people like me and you just use it as a privacy tool, as we dont download copyrighted material.
