I fail to see how blocking 2 billion IP addresses is going to make your BitTorrent or web surfing experience better. It is only guaranteed to make it worse.

Please note that there are only ~4.2 billion IP addresses in the whole world. So using PeerGuardian is a bit like erecting your own fake Great Wall of China. Except that there isn't actually 2 billion barbarians on the other side trying to get in...

But even if you stop only 1 barbarian surely that is a good thing?
For instance Adolph Hitler was only 1 man and look at how many deaths he was responsible for

But what about the innocence that are being blocked at the same time so you can put peer guardian on the same page as Adolph Hitler (one program that will block millions of innocent people like how Hitler was responsible for the deaths of all those people he wanted erased from the face of this planet)
