With Pen drives being so cheap these days, do you think i should get a large capacity one as i was thinking of getting a 1 g one. I know it depends on what you will use it for but in my case it will be for small file backups, word, drivers etc.
 
I'd consider 1GB being the sweet spot for the casual consumer. I have a 2GB drive, but I barely use it to its full capacity.
 
Recommended, they come in really handy. I work in I.T Support and they have saved me loads of hassle numerous times.

Try and get one that fits on a key ring or has a strap. I have a Datawrite one and while it's fine the thing is so small that it's really easy to lose!
