I had a 1.5TB storage drive which had sector errors, and I believed was causing blue screens of death.
I've since switched out that drive for a 3TB drive and have had no crashes/BSODs since, and the computer feels a lot snapper too.
However, now my main OS drive (a 500GB SSD) is also showing up under CrystalDiskInfo as having one pending sector count.
I haven't had any problems/crashes/slowdowns as yet but it is quite worrying. I'm currently wiping free space using CCleaner in the hope it fixes it, but I'm wondering could this mean a faulty motherboard, or is it likely to just be a coincidence?
