Pendulum - Hold Your Colour

Had this album since the back end of last year and i agree it is an absolutly cracking album, one of my best songs on it has to be fasten your seatbelts :D some nice heavy bass in that

I've got it kicking around somewhere. tbh I've only listened to it once and iirc not all the way through. I need to give it another go; I sometimes have to listen to an album through more than once to get into it.

I have three songs off of this album, taruntula insecurity and hold your colour.
I have been addicted to listening to hold your colour, i just cant get enough of it!
The other two though im not as keen on, its alright though!
ATM i also like high contrast remix of blue orchid, and pendulums mix of voodoo people!

Ohhhhhh, that explains it! I was at a club the other night when they started playing Voodoo People. One of my friends came up to me, grabbed me and started telling me that this was that awesome Pendulum track she'd been telling me about. I was all "WTF no, this is Prodigy" but she was adamant. I guess this clears it up then!

I think the album is overrated, i expected more from all the hype. For more dnb heaven check out london elektricity!

Different type of DnB though. London elektricity is awesome, but is definately a different type of DnB to Pendulum.

really like hold your colour, good album. Not the best dnb i've heard by a long way, but i prefer stuff like, logistics, Total science, Concord dawn, london elektricity.

The Pendulum mix of Voodoo People is excellent and Hold Your Colour was one of my favourite albums of 2005.

Silly, over the top and oh so much fun. :)

absolutely awesome live. and it's a great album. it was a shock favourite of mine last year.

looking forward to Andy C at the end of feb now :D

Andy C will be good!! Saw him not long ago at Random Concept, mint! Though Nicky Blackmarket was probabaly the best on that night. Wish i had gone to NYE NEC at new years, even though Pendulum didnt show up!

I went to a Hospital Records rave few Saturdays back with High Contrast, which was also really good, considering liquid/acid drum n bass aint my thing!

Yup, superb album, considering this time last year I was a rock/blues purist who hated DnB :p

Should be a good weekend, Planet Angel friday, Roni Size saturday and Pendulum sunday... hurrah!

I saw Andy C before xmas at Chibuku Shake Shake in liverpool and tbh he wasnt very good =(

the best show of the night was Jamie Lidell (sp) he rocked the place big style!

Im planning on going in March, when DJ Hype + True Playaz are playing!!

Best tracks on the album include

SLam
Plastic world
Through the loop
Tarantula
Hold your colour
the terminal
another planet (best track on album when it kicks in)

I like the tracks Hold your Colour and Tarantula, it's all so cheesy, I love it. They're like the Avenged Sevenfold of DnB, making cheesy rock-out tracks that the "hardcore" fans hate.

They do suck somewhat as live DJs though. Andy C does what they do a million times better.

Went to see them on Tuesday (Southampton @ The Nexus, they are playing again tonight), was a ****ing brilliant night!! :D

Been listening to Hold Your Colour for quite a while now, very good album.

My favourite tracks at the moment have to be Tarantula, Out Here and Another Planet, with Slam, Fasten Your Seatbelt and Through The Loop following closely. Hell, all the tracks are great!

Another good thing about the Pend (as I will now refer to them) is that they're getting more people into dnb. More people = more profitable clubnights = MORE clubnights = me happy :D

There's no scene around here, hopefully it'll change.
