penny arcade the game

Could be quite a good laugh, if they pull it off well enough. Quite enjoyed the trailer :)

One of those lazy 'play because I can and it's harmless and raises a smile' games maybe? :)
 
I admit I follow Penny Arcade with almost religious fervor so I will probably get this game when it comes out...i'm hoping they have concentrated mostly on humour/story since the graphics don't really stand out that much. That said the cartoony cel shading does look kind of funky :cool:

I enjoy the comics, though like any comic, they're hit and miss... At least the guys over at PA seem to be reasonable enough and not quite so full of themselves as some other webcomic people...
 
VG Cats + Extralife > Penny Arcade

Even Ctrl+Alt+Del is.

Sinfest and Order Of The Stick are the best though (but not gaming related) :D
 
Hmm I'm not so fond of ctrl alt del personally, although i still read it. I think the PA guys are generally more creative in the way they make comics than most other sites.

Sinfest is okay, i have got a bit bored of it now though...i don't think slick is ever going to win the girl!
 
I think PA is great and I'm hoping the game will be as well. Can't see them releasing a crap game because their into games so much themselves
 
I've not read extralife as yet... Will have to try it :)

VGCats rocks, but the guy is a bit of a gimp, not to mention he's become incredibly lazy /re updates. The last few comics were so lame that I'd have almost preferred him not to update rather than make the half-arsed attempt that he has done...

OOTS is pretty good... CTRL+ALT+DEL isn't particularly great, though it's okay.

edit: Extralife seems god-awful so far. I hope it picks up...
