Has anybody else here got or used the Pentax Q camera?

Avoid, they have low-end compact camera sensors and lenses in a high priced package for no reason and no benefit. Just buy a compact camera or a bridge camera, you will equal or better results, more flexibility and likely cheaper.

Very small sensor means poorer image quality compared to that of a DSLR's.

It is basically a compact camera sensor, and the smallest kind at that (e.g. compacts like the Canon s210 have a larger sensor), with a high price tag. It is what it is.

If you like it and the results that is all that really matters though.

True true, I take it for what it is, a small (read tiny) fun camera that does get some decent pictures.

Guess its like marmite.
