Pentium 805 Newbie clock

just purchased an 805 chip the other day, anyone have any ideas what I can clock it to on the standard fan and heatsink from the box??

yeah had a look on there, carnt believe how well this thing clocks. Anyone tryed to clock them on the standard "in box" cooler??

I've got mine on the stock cooler. For a long while it ran quite happily at 166 fsb (3.33 GHz). Anything above 168 fsb started to become unstable and there was throttling at 170 fsb.

Then it got dusty and now it crashes if left alone for 12 hours strait and it's down to 3 GHz... I should really get the hoover out.

Remember though that chips can differ greatly even if they were made the same week and came off the same production line.

4.3 is pretty damn good on the arctic, I am very supprised you're stable with no throttling.
