I recently built a system with intentions of overclocking the 805 - however i believe i have bought ram that isn't up to the job.
Spec; Pentium D 805
Asus P5LD2-VM
Samsung DDR2-PC4200
When i push the fsb above 149 (no matter what vcore setting) the system wont boot and i get a overclock failed message. I read the Toms Hardware guide article on overclocking the 805 and this page leads me to think the problem lies with the ram
Any ideas?
