if i put win xp or vista on it would it let me run the bios?

I doubt it. I've never flashed a bios from within an OS, always done it from the bios or booting up off a stick/cd.

got my bios sorted found a hp program an a bootme dos file an copyed the bios file to the dos file using the hp program to put it all on usb in fat32 format so yeeep!!! iv to pick up my q6600 quad core 2moro so thanks guys for the help

ok so a couple more ?s to rattle your brains so im getting my q6600 quad core in the next few hours ive picked up a new cooler is well

witch has the option of adding another fan for push an pull

so the ? is what can i expect to achive with this set up as regraurds OC any advice would be great

Limit is probably going to be the board and chip really, although the VRMs work for at least 135W CPUs so 3.4GHz might not be out of the question.
