Pentium K Thermal Paste

Hi,

Applying thermal paste to my Pentium K Anniversary. Is it the middle dot method or vertical line? Looked on numerous websites and it only shows options for i3/i5/i7 , which this is non of them.

middle dot and tighten the screws equally.

Ok cheers. Is there any advantage of doing the middle dot instead of the line or is cpu dependant?

I've always gone through the pea-sized blob in middle, generally speaking the pressure from the heatsink would push any excess paste out the sides.

I don't think there would be any difference between dot vs line
