Pentium M 750 1.86 GHz

not sure how it would compare to a desktop cpu speed wise but these chips to more work per clock than any other cpu on the market so even at low speeds they are still very capable
 
I have that chip in my laptop and I find it to be very fast, and I tend to use it for processing in the office instead of the desktops.

A quick comparison with my home pc using 3dmark2006:

P4 2.4 800FSB @ P4 3.0Ghz 1000FSB -> CPU score 635
Pentium M 750 1.86 Ghz -> CPU Score 791
