I am looking at building a pentium M desktop system but have a few questions?

Which motherboard -is the AOpen with 915 chipset any good?
Do OC/uk sell any Pentium M boards? (can't see any-why?)
Which memory 1gb?
Anything else I should know?

if your looking to overclock the 915 aopen board isnt for you - its pretty bad

there is a pci-e asus 478 board that can be used with the ct-479 adapter (p4gd1?) there is also a slightly cheaper but more important more available board named p4gpl-x - would deffo be your best bet for dothan pci-e

if you dont mind agp that go for a p4p800se and an adpater

ufortunately ocuk do not stock many if any 478 boards any more :(

you will probably need to flash the bios with a normal 478 chip is using the ct-479 adapter with a supported asus motherboard

no idea on the ram - depends what your looking for

Thanks for your input...I will look into it further!

If I decided just to build a quiet multi media second PC would the AOpen 915 board be any good then? -in other words not overclocked!
