penty 4, 3 -> 4ghz on air.

pentium 4 530J @ 3ghz

currently pumping out 3.45ghz with this dumb AI overclocking thing on my ASUS mobo. doesnt work when i put AI OC on 20%... manually i got it to 3.8 no probs with games and everything. but recently i cant get it up to 3.6 and i dont know why.

how can i do it? temperature wise i know my artic 7 can handle it. but what voltages should i be thinking of or other settings etc. any ideas? my pc has a tendancy to not POST when i got past 3.6 now for some reason, i had it on 3.8 2 weeks ago :S ive tried locking the ram speeds

Make sure the PCI frequency is locked.
Make sure your RAM is running below rated speeds to eliminate that as a problem.
You can put 1.5v though it safely on air, try upping the voltage.
Up the speed 5Mhz at a time, see if it's stable and increase the voltage as neccessary.
