I remember when this place was all about partying, nights out and chasing the ladies, not braces, hospital visits and pensions.

I long for those days….

For myself I'm off to a nice steakhouse tonight and then sampling some nice cocktails (old crow will definitely be visited), I will probably (definitely) end up in a dive bar, hopefully not karaoke...with resignation that tomorrow is going to be a pain.

No braces will be worn, but I am going to be wearing a fetching suit, I don't plan on ending up in hospital (let's see!) and my pension is already sorted.

Anyone else?

A couple of weeks back, I went into Manchester for a bit of culture - a traditional Chinese dance performance.

Unfortunately, turned out to be the front for a dodgy cult, basically the Chinese version of scientology.

Oh well, the first half was interesting, before the anti-evolution songs, and the weirdly acted scenes about such topics as someone having their eyes harvested by the CCP but then healing them through the power of meditation started.

They tried to collar me when I was in Warrington, I did think of getting tickets for my brother and sister in law for Christmas.. but they went a few years ago and said it was crap lol

I remember when I was a yoot, I used to club hop.. across different cities on the same night too.

Now, going to a friends birthday party seems a bit to wild for me. Lol

A few drinks with a meal on a bank holiday seems to be the most I can manage now a days.
