When you're walking towards someone in say a busy high street, and there's no room to move clearly to one side. I always make an effort to twist sideways to allows more room yet find 9/10 people who I come accross don't.
Why is this. From my point of view I've been raised to open door or hold them open, say thank you and to move a little to avoid walking into someone.
The other week I was walking through a shopping centre that was fairly empty when a man in his 40's walked straight into me even though I did the 'shoulder twist' to give more room. He made no effort to move and looked really annoyed that 'Id hit him'
Its not that I look like a push over as I'm 6'4" and about 15 stone but most people seem to want to walk into me. Do any other OcUKers find this a problem for them too?
