I am trying to set up a rotating sig as per instructions and *.php file in the help section of these forums on the 110mb free hosting site.

However when I try to access them by editing my sig here, it gives me a 403 forbidden message error (click my sig) and also an error indicating that the *.php file has incorrect parameters (or something).

I set it up fine on some other free hosting a while back and thought that doing it again in an identical manner (as in the help section) would be fine. But I'm not sure why it is not now working?

I have already ticked all the permission boxes btw. :(

[22:10:56] 421 50 users (the maximum) are already logged in, sorry

:/

I'll use the web interface, give me a bit. :)

rotate.php

Use Rob Millers script. ;) http://robm.me.uk/articles/image-rotation-in-php

Weird, seems to be working on the one I posted, when I manage to log-in I'll investigate.

Out of interest, how many images were you thinking of using in the rotation?

Edit: Seems they don't allow .htaccess.

Is that what the problem is then?

I was thinking of using about 6 sigs.

Possibly, I don't really know enough about all this. Did my 1st post in the thread display an image for you? I notice in your sig you linked to the jpg? Have you tried linking to the php?

Code:
[img.]http://www.youruser.110mb.com/sigs/random.php[/img]
for example

If not I can hook you up with an ftp account and sufficient stuff space/bandwidth for a rotation. Mine has pulled about 2gig in just under 2 weeks, so its not like they use that much, might be enough for 110mb to start hating you though. :) Since having my sig up its had 68,399 requests (as of 12 last night (US time?))

Check yo trust email, should all be explained in there. :)

Edit: Use the rotate_gl.php already there, just add the _gl to the link in the email. :)
