Pepsi = Heartburn

A bit of a random thread but was curious...

I drank a can of pepsi this morning and have been dying from heartburn ever since. I know it gives me heartburn so not sure why I drank it. Thing is though, I can drink as much coca cola I like and nothing.

Does this happen to anyone else when drinking Pepsi? Also, does anyone know why it would happen with just pepsi? I know that it is down to a certain ingredient but which? - Goes off to investigate.

What a stupid reply What do you drink in the morning? Tea? uh.

Okay serious reply time. I find some things eaten in the morning can really mess my stomach up for the rest of the day. For example, any sweet pastry in the morning gives me heartburn for the whole day.

Try some in the evening tomorrow and report back.

Nope, it happens any time of the day also.
