Bizzare thread to start but I'm kinda confused and concerned at the same time.

I drink a LOT of Pepsi Max... I'm talking 5 - 6 Litres a week.. mainly while playing games or watching movies.

My reason for drinking Pepsi Max is that it has low levels across the board as far as Sugar content etc is concerned, bar the fact it is a gassy softdrink it does appear to be ok.

I'm just wondering if this is a major problem and if I should reconsider the amount I am drinking, I did attempt to switch to flavoured water over the weekend but I didn't really like it :(

Any good alternatives?
 
Cordial is a good idea.. My gf drinks loads of water anyways so i might take that up :)

Water on its own, tap or bottled, just takes horrible to me.

My teeth are fine, they get checked by the dentist routinely without any problems. Just gotta watch out for the sweetners.

I have 4L left in the house, I'll consume that then move on :)
 
Fentimens is nice stuff.. I have it from the shop round the corner with my dinner from time to time.

Cordial it is then.. and some Evian or another type of bottled water :)
 
As stated the only reason i was drinking that much is due to the low levels stated on the side of the bottle, I was under the impression that it was the best softdrink out there health wise... I wasn't aware of dangerous additives.

I'll change from now on... my gf will be angry that I'm tapping into her water supplies tho lol
 
Just thought I'd update this...

I have massively reduced the amount of fizzy drinks I am consuming... and can probably count on 1 hand the amount I've had since the 23rd of April.. I have been drinking plain water and also mixing it with some barley water :)

I've struggled when going out but tbh I haven't been out much.. and try to stick to beer or straight whiskey when possible.

So.. basically put I've been about 3 months off the stuff :)

I've just this week started a new "fasting" phase.. no cheese or chocolate.

Now this is a lot harder than you would think.. since I am a vegetarian who doesn't eat fish... so its pretty hard to find stuff to eat. I am allowing myself one cheat day tho.. a Friday.. but other than that I seem to be doing pretty good :)
