Pepsi Max

Fentimens is nice stuff.. I have it from the shop round the corner with my dinner from time to time.

Cordial it is then.. and some Evian or another type of bottled water :)

As stated the only reason i was drinking that much is due to the low levels stated on the side of the bottle, I was under the impression that it was the best softdrink out there health wise... I wasn't aware of dangerous additives.

I'll change from now on... my gf will be angry that I'm tapping into her water supplies tho lol

I would be more worried about the effect on your teeth than additives, how long have you been drinking this much? And when did u last have your teeth checked?

While pepsi etc is terrible for your teeth, crisps are technically worse, as they cling to your teeth, drinks flow over them and are gone fairly quickly, but you get a bit of mushed crisp stuck in a back tooth, it could be there a good few hours unless you brush after every meal/anytime you eat

But crisps aren't really going to do much to your teeth, the sugar levels in them aren't very high and I'd worry less about crisps than Pepsi.

edit, I see the problem with crisps being stuck in your teeth and adding to bacteria and plaque formation, but this all depends on how much you eat.

I think in this case pepsi is the problem, unless he's going to tell us he eats a family bag of crisps with every drink.

Where as phosphoric acid pouring over your teeth at the rate of 5 or 6 litres a week is a bit excessive.

you'd be surprised, the amount of sugar in crisps is worrying, and having them cling to your teeth, and if you eat crisps, then drink pepsi, then eat an apple, you're just destroying your teeth pretty swiftly :p

After a rubbish break up 2 weeks ago from my other half of 5 years I've decided to sort myself out.

I haven't had a fettish for fizzy drinks like most geeks but drank a lot of coffee with 2 sugars (bigish cups). Since that day I've only had tap water to drink and after a few days of runny bottom I feel much much better and my teeth feel much nicer throughout the day. I've never been a plain water fan but It's not so bad after a while. I just hope I can keep it up now.

The pack of Frazzles I just ate are probably the worst for sticking to teeth, and they have 1g of sugar per pack.

If I'm by myself though I have a habit of picking them out of my teeth :o

I'm the same, get a toothpick and go digging, best thing you can do really, or save them for later when you're peckish again ;):p

Fanta Zero or Lilt Zero are the two healthiest pops... although I believe the new Vimpto has nothing artificial added too.

I switched mid december from 1/2 litre or more coke zero a day to bottled fizzy water. I've only taken coke twice since (at cinema) I don't miss it at all I usually drink 2L of fizzy water per day so wonder what are the side effects of CO2 (apart from burping a lot :p )
