Perez Drives an F1 car through New York City

Most teams do things like this and roll the v10 / v12 cars out as the noise bounces off the buildings and make it even louder
 
You can also see all the police cars where the roads have been closed in the wider shots.

They probably filmed all that over the course of a couple of days, if that. Most of those shots were on quieter, out of the way streets with a few exceptions.
 
First thing that comes to mind is he probably hates that drive, the amount of bouncing and bumping while the car is going along is unreal. He'll be complaining of whiplash lol
 
The behind the scenes video posted sounds pretty good with that engine echoing off the buildings. Shame it wasn't a V10 though, that would have been even better.

Probably no worse than the porpoising nowadays :p
 
Imagine doing this round some backroads in somewhere like London....5 minutes in "We've reached a speed hump and can't go any further without trashing the front wing"

Red Bull have done lots of great publicity videos, they're always good to watch. Some of their MTB and BMX stuff is excellent too, all round high production content.

exactly, its all made cleverly, he wouldn't be about to reach those speeds etc, if you watch the "how it was made" other video, you get the idea :)
