As nice as that list is so many are the same and I'm sure you'd only end up driving 3 or 4 of them.

For me I would have one of each of the following;

1) Dream car
2) Supercar
3) All round car
4) Track car (optional)

So a Shelby Mustang, Porsche 911 Turbo and something like an M5.

I know, I found myself picking a lot of super cars, because I found it hard just to pick 1 or 2! But I have 2 or 3 every day cars (RS6, GTR, ST), a couple supercars, at least 1 needs to be open top! The Ariel is for track when dry, and the GT2 RS when it's chilly or raining. The Bowler is for immense fun in places where normal cars can't go!

Dream Car: Nissan GTR + Mustang
Supercar: Aventador
All round: RS6 + ST + GTR
Track: Atom + GT2 RS

Then I picked from the top of my head. I'm sure some other suggestions will come in, and I will wish I chose that :)

in no particular order

1 F11 550i (or may be 535d) to keep the dogs happy
2 Range Rover
3 Ford F150/F250
4 Panamera Turbo
5 50s 300sl
6 SLS AMG
7 Bentley Mulsanne
8 Cobra
9 GTR
10 650i m sport cab

edit: forgot an aston of some description, would prob lose the the 6 series for one (and buy a 6 series when it's worth 50p in a couple of years)

I wouldn't disagree with the OP.

From another forum I saw this from back in 2004 -

BMW E30 M3 EVO 3
Lotus Exige
McLaren F1
Porsche 1995 Carrera
Triumph TR6
Mini Cooper (Old)
Porsche GT3
BMW 2002 Turbo
Land Rover Defender
Subaru STI

And somewhere to keep them.

Andi.

Tough question, which I don't think I can answer in full.

1) Ford Model A hotrod, pretty much stock with a flathead V8, overdrive and good gearing.
2) 1949-51 Mercury sled. Roof chop, black, tuck n roll. It would be cool for this to be hiding a hybrid powerplant.

The rest are really in no particular order

3) 1951 Studebaker
4) Ford Model A drag car, trad style, unchopped, channelled, blown V8, manual box, dropped beam, magnesium spindle mounts, no front brakes.
5) Electric 2CV
6) Something 1930's converted to electric
7) Wouldn't mind another standard Ford Pop with some go-faster goodies
8) May as well keep my Anglia
9) ?
10) ?

This is far too hard.

BMW 1M with Akropovic everything.
Caterham R500
Koenigsegg Agera R
Lamborghini Gallardo LP 570-4 Super Trofeo Stradale
Bugatti Veyron
Porsche 964 Turbo 3.6
Porsche 993 Turbo S
Ferrari F355
The Blue Train Car

And something else, but God knows what.

Q7 V12 TDI for sensible stuff
Q7 V12 TDI for the missus
E30 M3
s2000 for sunny days
and i'd retain my trusty vectra for the lulz

dont need anymore :)

9: Toyota Prius :p
10: Classic Mini

Random?

Mercedes CLS 63 AMG
Mercedes 300 SL
Mercedes ML 63 AMG
BMW E63 M6
BMW F12 M6
Ferrari Testarossa
Ferrari 458 Italia
Lamborghini Aventador
Lamborghini Miura

5) Aston Martin V12 Vantage
6) Ferrari 458
7) Porsche Carrera gt
8) Ferrari F40
9) Corvette ZR1
10) Fiat 500 abarth to keep the missus quiet

I figure if I've got the money to own such a garage then I'm not going to give a hoot about the mpg they return or the up keep costs, And the other half just loves the fiat 500..

Well, my list would mainly be Ferrari. So to make it interesting I'm only going to allow myself one :(

Ferrari 288 GTO
Lambo Miura
Ford GT
Mclaren F1
Audi Ur-Quattro
Porsche Carrera GT
Aston DBS V12
Maserati Bora
Lotus Carlton
TVR Griffith 500

Not the most practical list, but the Quattro would be OK in bad weather and the Carlton has good room in the boot :p
