"Perfect" albums

LowLife - New Order
Closer - Joy Division
Automatic For The People - REM
The Queen Is Dead - The Smiths
Dare - The Human League
The Luxury Gap - Heaven 17
If I Should Fall From Grace With God - The Pogues
Trading Secrets With The Moon - The Adventures
The Domino Club - The Men They Couldn't Hang.

I think that's probably enough to going on with for the moment.

The Killers - Sam's Town

I used to listen to this everyday on my walk to the bus, AM/PM

Absolutely phenomenal

Why they didn't release ' Why Do I Keep Counting' I'll never know, nothing short of epic.

Nine Inch Nails - The Downward Spiral
Nine Inch Nails - The Fragile
Nine Inch Nails - The Slip

Psh. I'm one of the biggest NIN fans there is and there is no way they are perfect albums, with the possible exception of TDS.

The Fragile has Star****ers, Inc, a god awful song.

The Slip is alright, but Corona Radiata really doesn't fit, and I don't really like Letting You

I'd disagree with The Slip but the other two are perfect going by the standards defined by the other suggestions in this thread. Star******* inc is a great song, it just doesn't fit onto The Fragile very well.

Really can't agree. Think it's an awful song and is one of the few of the NIN collection I'll skip every time, the only other being Ringfinger that I can think of, and most of Fixed when not in the mood :P

Nirvana - Nevermind
Bowie - Hunky Dory
Love and Rockets - Express
Cure - Japanese Whispers
Bowie - Heroes
The Cult - Love
Eels - Beautiful Freak
Jack Johnson - In Between Dreams
Lenny Kravitz - Let Love Rule
John Martyn - One World
Orange Goblin - Frequencies From Planet Ten
The The - Infected

That should do it for now.

Coheed and Cambria - Good Apollo I'm Burning Star IV

Have to agree it is quite good. Whilst the band themselves are not that great and no single song shines out for me, the album in its entirety is very good. If you listen to it all in one sitting every piece flows into next. A very well produced album.

Ive not heard a single Killers song i dont like, Dont shoot me santa is my least favroite but still love it!

Everything after Hot Fuss ruined the band for me.

Mr. Brightside was played at Mayhem in Southend recently and that was pure epicness of everyone there enjoying and singing along to it while dancing.

Will come back with a list of perfect albums at some point. F#A#infinity by Godspeed You! Black emperor though.

the only album i have that i liked all songs on the first play through is

Duffy. Rockferry.

i know it doesn't fit in with the current rock band theme of the thread, but hey it my choice.
