Hi all,

Im getting together a bunch of materials for cable braiding a bunch of cables next week and i dont know what do do about heatshrink or shrink wrap (whatever you want to call it).

Im not really sure what size or shrink ratio is best? Or where to buy. I know that OCUK dont stock this stuff so it should be ok to help with this? (i hope ?:()

These threads were useful for me:

I've compiled a list of things I need to do my own braiding but just got to find a suitable supplier.

Some good information there thanks. I am planning to use paracord for the braid and have already bought about 200ft of it which should be plenty lol so all the cables will be individually done pretty much.

Also need to find a better tool for getting the pins out the plastic plugs, the tools are bought a seriously useless. tried for 45 minutes more than once with no success.

I have MDPC braid at the moment and i find it fairly nasty. Im sure for that type of braid it is a good quality, but i much prefer the fabric look like the alchemy bitfenix cables.

Might look at getting their heatshrink although it is fairly expensive as i remember? :(

EDIT: They have an online shop opening time... URGH WTF??! just idiocy...
