.. I've had this Samsung 913B lcd monitor for just over a year, and just came up to use my PC to find an image has been burned into the screen.

I assume it's out of warranty, so therefore it's a chuck it in the bin and get a new one, right?

But do you reckon a burnt in image would qualify for a replacement?

If they ask for proof of purchase I'd have to dig out my credit card bills

Hrm, I found the guarantee form anyway. I guess they know if it's under warranty or not by the serial number?

Strange - it seems a bit better today - the outline of the "burned" image seems to be less strong.

Freaky, the "burned in" type image has almost gone pretty much after long hours of "white out". leet.
