perfectdisk rebooting pc after analysing

for some reason perfectdisk has started rebooting my pc when i analyse the c drive, it gets to 100% and then reboots, it does not start the defragment

any ideas what the problem could be i hae run chkdsk and it made no difference

It may sound stupid

But some programs have an option reboot after an action has been performed could be something like that.
