PerfectDisk screensaver defrag

I've got PerfectDisk 8 set up to defrag when the screensaver is running every 3 days.

It doesn't seem to be working in Vista anymore (this is my first Vista build) - last defrag date was 05/04/08 which is more than three days ago, which was the manual full defrag I did. No screensaver defrags seem to be working.

Any ideas please?

I did yes, and just realised mine hasn't been running at screensaver

Not a problem though if you don't want to run it at screensaver, hopefully there's a simple fix.

Does PDEngine need to be running for the screensaver defrag to work? Whenever I close PerfectDisk PDEngine is also shutdown, I assume it's because I told the program to exit when it's closed rather that minimize to tray?

So long as pdsched (or whatver it is) the scheduler service is still running it should work, I'd check that.

Just tested it and with the "Minimize to Systray" option ticked the defragger is now working. Problem solved

er may sound stupid but the drive is fragmented?

maybe it wont run if its 99% unfragmented (defragmented?)

No, it's not defragmented much at the moment, but I remember a setting telling it when to defrag and I set it to the minimum, which is defrag no matter what,
