Just had a quick look around and found that lot so there are plenty of choices available.

Thanks pastymuncher that's great I will look at them all :D just what i needed and i like the look of those low rpm foor being quiet
thanks again

Acoustics is entirely different thing in 140mm size...
why?
Yate Loon's bearing/motor keeps ticking/chuffing noise, so does Sharkoon System Fan and Fractal design looks just like repainted Sharkoon.
That Akasa is the worst fan I've ever listened by having incredibly loud sleeve bearing and resonating plastics.
Xigmatek uses transparent bling bling plastic so there's good probability for it to resonate like Akasa.
And never trust any stock fans of case manufacturers. (Lian Li's 120mm fans are acoustically bad like Antec Tricools)

yes the Lian fans are noisy, Xigmatek are quieter

what do you think about the scythe kaze 140mm they come at several rpm?
They look like big brother of SlipStream (which is acoustically superior and has 25+% higher airflow per RPM than standard 120mm fans) so unless someone screwed up they might be acoustically best "140mm" fans... with 120mm attaching holes.
Slower/medium speed models are generally best scaling when undervolting while highest speed versions are the least sure candidates for sounding smooth at low speed.

I can recommend noiseblocker pro 140mm fans as i have a couple as in takes attatched to a blackice sr-1 280 and coupled to a sythe kaze server fan controller which works brilliantly!
