Performance comparison please... 560ti SLI vs....

I have MSI twin frozr II 560ti in SLI (1gb cards)

How do these perform in comparison to

7970
7950


Curious as I have the upgrade bug itching away here!

I'd recommend a single card over the two either way, might take a tiny performance hit (Haven't really looked at figures) but there will be less problems / microstutter and stuff. Always felt a single gpu runs a game loads smoother after owning CF before.

With a simple tweak in the AMD control center (like about 5 seconds) you can overclock your 7970 to be competing with 570 sli or 590 (dual gpu), without the inherent problems of running dual cards.

GTX560ti in SLI score higher than a 7970 in just about every test I have read so far.
Why spend so much to get less performance? The only benefit I see would be less power consumption if you dont OC it and possible VRam restrictions depending on your display. At least I would wait a few weeks and see what Nvidia release before deciding.
