what do you think would be the % gain from my existing x1800xt overclocked 24/7 @ 650/1550 to the very keenly priced c3d x1950xt and tempting ,which could i suppose be safely overclocked to 650/1850,there-fore gain would only be on memory,is this so,cheers.

Agreed, destroys the old x1950 XT, and is only about £40 more, Nvidia is your only option from an x1800 as ATi's cards are all old till they get their R600's out.

if its under 10% then maybe your right e.r. may as well spend extra on gts ,then gain hopefully 25% performance.
