Performance Increase?

Hi all will i see a big performance increase? with the following in my system:

AMD Phenom II X6 Six Core 1090T Black Edition 3.20GHz (Socket AM3)
8GB Kingston HyperX 4GB (2x2GB) DDR2 8500C5 1066MHz Dual Channel


Heres my current setup:

Antec 900 Nine Hundred Ultimate Gaming Case - Black
OCZ GameXStream 600w Silent SLI Ready ATX2 PSU
Gigabyte GA-MA770-UD3 AMD 770 (Socket AM3/AM2+) PCI-Express DDR2 Motherboard
AMD Athlon 64 X2 Dual Core 6400+ 3.20GHz
OCZ 8GB (4x2GB) PC2-6400C5 Dual Channel Vista Gold Series
VTX ATI Radeon HD 5770 1024MB GDDR5
DGM L2231WD 22" Widescreen LCD Monitor - Glossy Black
Microsoft Windows Vista Home Premium SP1 64-Bit

Swapping the RAM out won't make much of a difference I imagine. On the other hand, the X6 should be a big improvement over your X2 :)
 
The X6 would be a huge improvement in all areas, but as others have said, there's no point upgrading your current RAM unless you're going for DDR3.
 
Upgrade to the x6 but I would not worry about the ram, you should be able to overclock with your current ram fine :)
 
Ah thanks for the replys all thats great , only reason i was changing the ram was the speed , but if your saying it wont make much of a diffrence then ill leave it until DDR3.
