Hey Guys,
My girlfriend gave me her 22" LG L226WTQ-SF LCD which is supposed to be an awesome gaming monitor with 2ms response. Since using this from an old cheap 17" LCD i am having huge performance impacts especially in Bad Company 2 which used to run fine on my old monitor.
I used to run at 1280x1024 on my old monitor as native and this new one runs at 1680x1050 native, no matter what resolution i run it at the performance is really bad as in unplayable. I have tried running it at my old resolution of 1280x1024 yet still have same issues.
Thought it could be to do with my graphics card which is a 9600GT but never had problems with it before ran games fine, only since i got this new monitor.
Could it be the cable? Since i used the old cable from my other monitor which is a vga-max 60Hz and the monitor is running in analog mode, if i got a DVI-D cable would this help as that's the only digital output it has.
Changed drivers too from the latest Nvidia 257.15 (Beta) back to the 197.45 (WHQL) and still the same.
