Performance test 6.1

does anyone have performance test 6.1?
If you do does the 3D Graphics test run smoothly for you, or keep locking up?

3D Graphics Simple 330.5 FPS
3D Graphics medium 86.0 FPS
3D Graphicscomplex 14.8 FPS
^ are the scores i got on 3D graphics test, but it kept freezing up before black-screening.

Anyone explain this??
ran the test again just now after removing my sound drivers and disabling the soundcard through the bios, these are the scores i got for it this time...

3D Graphics Simple 894.1 FPS
3D Graphics medium 273.6 FPS
3D Graphicscomplex 47.9 FPS

as you can see that's a quite a large difference and also the application didn't freeze up. what's that about then? no sound drivers means your gfx performs better? or maybe they're incompatible??

it's basically a program to test the performance of your computer. i ran a 3D graphics test before and after disabling my soundcard.
with the sound card installed and enabled i got a much lower FPS in the test than i did after removing the soundcard drivers and disabling it.

What does the app aim to establish? against what standard I mean. you could say that Photoshop loads 4 seconds faster than another gfx card driver but this has no relation to actual games so would not make a difference.

i was just asking if anyone else used it and wheather it ran smoothly on theres, not i'm just curious as to why my graphics card performs a lot better with no sound drivers installed and the card disabled.

That's my point, the benchmark is an unknown benchmark, it probably has issues which have given you those results. Do a benchmark in a reputable application like an ingame benchmark or 3dmark06 for example
